ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />Present: D. Cameron -Alston, D. Miller, K O'Rourke, J. Thomas, and B. Gorris <br />Absent: L. Orlowski and R. 'I'allon. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director Dubelkq City Engineer Deiclunann, Assistant City Engineer <br />C"rriffith, Building Commissioner Conway, and Clerk of Commissions Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MIlNUTES: <br />P. Miller moved to accept the minutes of October 11, 1994, seconded by B. Gorris. Roll call on motion: <br />Miller, Gorris, Cameron-Alston, and Thomas, yes. Mrs. O'Rourke abstained. Motion carried. <br />N. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDNISIONS: (Heard at tlus point). <br />1) Great Northem Prop erties Comp any Lot Split Plat. <br />The proposal is to subdivide permauent parcel number 236-14-3 iuto two (2) parcels. Location is <br />betweeu Brookpark Road, Country Club Boulevard, Great Northem Blvd., Columbia Road, and the site <br />of the existing Great Northem Corporate Center and the proposed approved Wal-Mart site. Also <br />included is the vacation/extinguishment of an existing water main easement and the granting of another <br />water main easement located elsewhere on the site. Zoning is Mixed Use, entirely. <br />Mr. Spreng, attorney, presented plat and explained that it was a follow up to the site plan approval <br />previously given to the Wal-Mart store to be located on the new sublot 4 shown on the plat. The <br />Engineering Department has reviewed the plat which includes the splitting off the Wal-Mart parcel and <br />relocating an existing water main easement. City Engineer Deiclunann advised that this will be creating 2 <br />parcels out of one, and clarified that the Westbury, Red Robin Restaurant, the Radisson parcels shown <br />on the plat were all ready separate parcels. Mr. Gorris questioned if any special considerations were <br />needed on the plat where the Wal-Mart drives would cross the other parcels. Mr. Deichmanu did not <br />believe that it was necessary to show this on the plat, but noted that there were part of the site plau <br />approval. Mr. Spreng clarified that the water main easement was being relocated closer to the boundary <br />of the parcel. The members had no fuither questions. J. Thomas moved to accept and approve the <br />proposal to subdivide permanent Parcel number 236-14-3 into two (2) parcels. Location is between <br />Brookpark Road, Country Club Boulevard, Great Northem Boulevard, Columbia Road, and the site of <br />the existing Great Northem Corporate Center and the proposed approved Wal-Mart site. Also included is <br />the Vacation/extinguisluneut of an existing water main easement and the granting of another water main <br />easement located elsewhere on the site. Zoning is Nliaced Use, entirely. The motion was seconded by K. <br />O'Rourke, and unaniuiously approved. <br />2) Biddulph, Inc. & Bonita L. Deloreuzo, Trs. Lot Split and Adjoinment Plat. <br />The proposal is to subdivide the Springvale Golf Course Parcel (236-19-11) owned by Biddulph, Inc. iuto <br />two parcels, aud attach the smaller portion of approximately 0.587 acres in area to a parcel owned by <br />Bonita L. Delorenzo, Trs. (236-19-8 aud 236-19-17). In exchange Biddulph, Iuc. is receiving a 1.607 <br />acre parcel in Ohnsted Townslup from Bonita L. Delorenzo, Trs. Zoning is Single-Family "A" entirely.
