The members had no problem with the wood guard rail. <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that the Sunnyside Dealership would be coming in to <br />the Commission for exterior changes, but at present that are modifying the inside to comply with <br />the ADA requ.irements and have requested to have a construction trailer on the property. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Vice Chairman Orlowski advised that, as allowed under Article IX, he would like to waive <br />Article I, Section 2 of the ILules and Regulations of Planving Commission in order to hold <br />elections tonight instead of in January as stipulated. He explained that since he is the only officer <br />at this time and he would not be retunung in 1995, the Commission would need officers to help <br />with the transition. P. Miller moved to waive Article I, Section 2 of the rules and Regulations of <br />Planning Commission, seconded by K. O'Rourke, and unanimously approved. He asked if <br />anyone would volunteer for an office. Mr. Miller advised that he, too, anticipated leaving in 1995 <br />so he could not hold an office. Mrs. O'Rourke volunteered to act as secretary. Mrs. O'Rourke <br />nominated , Mr. Tallon for Chairinau, seconded by Mr. Manuing. Mr. Tallon was elected <br />Chau-ina.n unanunously. Mr. Miller nominated Mr. Manning for Vice Chairmau, seconded by Mr. <br />Orlowski. Mr. Manning was elected Vice Chairma.n unanimously. <br />Mr. Orlowski nominated Mrs. O'Rourke for secretary, seconded by Mr. Mauning. Mrs. <br />O'Rourke was elected Secretary unanimously. <br />IX. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Miller `mentioned the gaudy appearance of the China House Restaurant and asked if that had <br />been approved by the city. This restaurant has been their for years and is grandfathered in. <br />In reference to Boston Chicken, Mr. Miller explained to the new members that, because of the <br />residents concern about the traffic situation, it had been agreed that there would be a right turn <br />exit only sign at that exit until such time that a traffic light could be installed facing the Boston <br />Chicken aud Gas Station exits. Boston Chicken is now open and that sign is not installed. <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that he would check into it. <br />X.
