be added in the parking lot, but there are no specific plans as yet. The light
in the back will be left on for security. Building Commissioner Conway suggested
that they use some kind of fixture that directs the light down and can be
shielded so light does not spill over onto the residential property in the rear.
Mr. Orr stated that they were considering 12 foot high poles. The dumpster will
be enclosed with a wolmanized board on board fence which will be stained. Mr.
Zergott was not present but he had advised that he could not approve thi's
landscaping plan and would need a working plan showing what is actually there
and what new plant material will be added. If the plan is submitted soon, he
will, review it before the Planning Coirnnission meeting. Mr. Orr was concerned
because most landscapers are at the Flower Show and this may not be possible.
Mr. Gallagher stated tha.t this board can approve the proposal subject to Mr.
Zergott's approval of the landscaping. In reference to the parking, Mr. Conway
advised that they had reduced the parking from 20 spaces to 11 as shown on this
plan. Mr. Conway suggested that he bring a cut of the light fixture to the
Planning Commission meeting. Mr. Orr presented a picture of the graphics of the
ground sign (the sign is outlined on the plan). The sign will have brick piers
with a sandstone cap and redwood trim painted to ma,tch the sandstone. Mr. Sohn
advised the the brick should match the brick on the building. Y. Sohn moved to
accept the Bermet Dover Home Remodelers proposal at 29341 Lorain Road as
submitted including the colors which have been described above, and with the
stipulations that the light poles will be 12 feet high and subject to Mr.
Zergott's approval of the landscaping. The ground sign is approved as presented,
seconded by S. Krieger, and unanimously approved. Mr. Orr advised Mr. Conway
that if the engineer's topo is available he will bring it to the Planning
Comission.
IV. Mr. Conway had
obtained pictures of these signs from the files. Mr. Gallagher suggested that
this discussion be deferred until riext month and the other members will list
signs which they find to be unacceptable before the next meeting.
VI.
