. - ? --? <br />the area in the ba.ck was needed for the tvrni ng radius of fire vehicles and was <br />necessary for the operation of the Fire Department. He believed that the <br />neighbors would find that a fire station would be a good neighbor. Mr. Zergott <br />advised that he had no problem with.the landseapingwhatsoever and believed that <br />they had done a good job. B. Zergott moved to to approve the North 0]msted Fire <br />Station rnunber 1 proposal as presented with the suggestion that there be a 6 foot <br />board on board fence adjaeent to the residential areas and request that the <br />forester make a study of the trees that can be saved, seconded by Y. Sohn, and <br />unanimously approved. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: (Heard at this point.) <br />1) Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Property located an the south side of Brookpark Road. <br />Informal review of building materials submitted to Plaming Commission 4/9/94. <br />(No representative will be present). Mr. Sohn asked if the, elevation -had been revised to show the wall at the center <br />portoin of the building (where the 5ign is located) at the same height as the <br />rest of the building (the portions an either side of this area are to be 4 foot <br />higher than the other walls). Mr. Conway stated that they were made aware of <br />that, but he had no drawing showing it. Mr. Sohn reviewed the plans and had no <br />problem with then except for the lower elevation. He further determined that the <br />large sample of the brick was Just to give the overall effect of the brick, and <br />the smaller sample was the actual brick. B. Sohn moved to approve the proposal as <br />presented, with the codition that the lower wall on the front elevation be raised <br />to the same height as the other walls, and that the entrance area will be higher, <br />raised 4 feet above the other walls, seconded by B. Zergott, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />2) Wendy's Restaurant, 26650 Lorain Road. <br />Informal review of landscape plan as requested at meeting of April 20th, and <br />submission of finish ma.terials list. (No represeritative will be present). - <br />Mr. Zergott stated tha.t sinee the last hearing, he had approved their <br />landscaping plan. He also needed to submit a list of materials, but they had <br />submitted the a material board which the members ha.d approved. Mr. Sohn noted <br />that they had not shown the handicapped ramp on their drawing. B. Zergott moved <br />to accept the revision to the Wendy's landscaping at 26650 Lorain Road, seconded <br />by S.
