.? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMIVIISSION <br />NIINiJTES -DECEMBER 12, 1995 <br />I. ROLL CALL: Chairman Tallon called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. - Present: D. Cameron Alston, T. Brennan, T. Herbster, R. Koeth, A. Mauniug, K. O'Rourke and <br />R. Tallon. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director Dubelko, Assistant City Engineer McDermott, Building" <br />Commissioner Conway, Assistant Building Commissioner Rymarczyk, and Clerk of <br />Commissions Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />R. Tallon moved to adopt the.minutes of November 28, 1995, seconded by K. O'Rourke. Roll call on <br />motion: Tallon, O'Rourke, Cameron Alston, Herbster, Koeth, and Manving, yes. Mr. Brennan <br />abstained. Motion carried. <br />III. BiJII,DING DEPARTMENT REQLTESTS: <br />1) Performauce Sycle Works, 29601 Lorain Road. <br />Renewal of conditional use permit to repair motorcycles inside building. <br />Conditional use permit granted for one year by planning commission on October 25th 1994. <br />Continued from meeting of November 28, 1995 due to improper notification. <br />Chairmau Tallon explained that the commission had granted the conditional use permit for one year in <br />order to review any complaints that might come in. Mr. Clemmens, owner, represented the business. <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that he was not aware of any complaints. There were no <br />neighbors present. R. Tallon moved to renew the conditional use permit to repair motorcycles inside the <br />building for Performance Sycle Works, 29601 Lorain Road. The motion was seconded by T. Brennan, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />2) O.S.V. Productions, 29587 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct two story office build.mg. <br />Heard by board of zoning appeals December 6, 1995. <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that he had talked with the architect this aftemoon, and it <br />appears that they have completed a deal to buy the property next door, and will be submitting a new <br />proposal next month. 3) Ganley Westside Imports, 25600 Lorain Road (formerly Glitz, 25700 Lorain Road). <br />Proposal to demolish existing building and use lot for used car display and parking for adjacent car <br />dealership. <br />Heard by board of zoning appeals December 6; 1995. <br />Mr. Harris, attomey and an officer of Ganley Westside Itnports, advised that their architect was unable <br />to attend. The commission had not received the revised, drawings showing the circular display pods and <br />the new sign location. It was noted that the architect had planned to bring them. Mr. Harris presented <br />a revised drawing and there were two plans which had been presented at the board of zoning appeals <br />meeting. He explained that all the cars that had been parked in the front setback had been moved back. <br />Chairman Tallon advised that the parking spaces shown on the plan were for parking only, they were
