Ehrbar, 23578 Sharon Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 4 foot 8 inch side setback variance to install deck. Also <br />request 2 foot, 6 inch side setback variance to relocate air conditioner to side of house. Violation of <br />Ord. 90-125, Sections 1135.02(d)4 and 1135.07. Please note: Section 1355.03 of the Building Code <br />requires permission of Building Commissioner to place air conditioner u.nit in side setback. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was admiuistered to Mr. <br />Ehrbar. Mr. Gomersall stated that the air conditioner would be right in the neighbor's back yard. There <br />should also be enough room on the side to maintain the deck. W. Gomersall suggested that he not go <br />as far with the deck. Mr. Ehrbar advised that there is a fence 6 inches off his line. The members still <br />believed that the deck should be 2 feet away from the fence. Mr. Ehrbar responded that he did not ask <br />for the variance for the deck. It was explained that the inspector decided to put request for the deck on <br />the agenda since he lmew from the site plan that it would need a variance. R. Gomersall moved to <br />grant a variance to R. E. Ehrbar, 23578 Sharon Drive for a 2 foot, 8 inch side setback variance to <br />install a deck. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d). The motion was seconded by M. Boyle, <br />and unanunously approved. Variance granted. R. Gomersall moved to grant a variance to R. E. Ehrbar, <br />23578 Sharon Drive for a 2 foot 6 inch side setback variance to relocate air conditioner to side of <br />house. The motion was seconded by J. Maloney. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1139.07 and 1139.06. Also request special permit to add to <br />non-conforming dwelling (front setback). Mr. Gareau questioned why they needed a variance for the lot <br />width since the lot is there, aud if they can maintain the side yard he could see no reason for a variance. <br />Mrs. Kemp/Kopco explained that she needed the front set back variance for the addition, because the <br />addition itself was in the front setback. J. Maloney moved to grant the request of Laurie's Dance <br />Studio, 30036 Lorain Road for a 27.17 front setback variance and a 75.8 foot variance for width of lot. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1139.07 and 1139.06. Also to grant a special permit to add to a <br />non-conforming dwelling (front setback). Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b)(2). <br />The motion was seconded by R.
