Please note, if variance is granted, it will only be in effect until January l, 1998 when <br />all pole signs must be removed, as per code. <br />Chau-mau Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adiniuistered to <br />Mr. Burger, sign contractor, who explained that he had advised his client that the sign would have <br />to be removed by January 1, 1998. They are replacing an existing sign. T. Koberna moved to grant <br />the request of the Blue Moon Cafe, 29352 Lorain Road for a variance to install new face (on <br />existing non-conforming pole sign) for a tenant. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(H). <br />Please note, if variance is granted, it will only be in effect until January 1, 1998 when all pole signs <br />must be removed, as per code. The motion was seconded J. Maloney and unanimously approved. <br />Variance granted. <br />14. Joe and Laura Stanley, 6797 Maplehurst Dr. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 33 square foot variance for size of shed which exceeds <br />the 2% maximum area of rear yard: also request 7 foot variance for distance from rear property <br />line and 2 foot variance for distance from side property line. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Sections <br />1135.02(D)(1) and 1135.02(D)(4 ). <br />Chairinan Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to <br />Mr. and Mrs. Stanley who explained that they had a one car garage, and had no room for storage. <br />Mr. Gomersall wondered why they did not put the shed on the other side of the lot. Mr. Stanley <br />explained that the. proposed location was further away from their neighbors and adjacent to a 6 <br />foot high board on board fence belonging to an apartment complex in Olmsted Township. It is also <br />closer to their pool and they keep the pool equipment in the shed. Mr. Maloney noted that they <br />were at the : end of the street. J. Maloney moved to grant the request of Joe and Laura Stanley, <br />6797 Maplehurst Drive, for a 33 square foot variance for size of shed which exceeds the 2% <br />maximum area of rear yard: also request 7 foot variance for distance from rear property line and 2 <br />foot variance for distance from side property line. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Sections <br />1135.02(D)(1) and 1135.02(D)(4 ). The motion was seconded by W. Purper, and una.nimously <br />approved. Variance granted. <br />15. Stohen Davis, 5870 Buins. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 9.5 foot rear yard variance. Violation of Ord. 90-125, <br />Section 1135.08(a). <br />Chairmau Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to <br />Mr. Davis. The members had no problems with the addition. R. Gomersall moved to grant the <br />request of Stephen Davis, 5870 Burns Road, for a 9.5 foot rear yard variance. Violation of Ord. <br />90-125, Section 1135.08(a). The motion was seconded by M. Boyle, and unanimously approved. <br />Variauce granted. <br />16. Edwin & Jean Coonev, 4347 Coe Avenue. <br />f 6
