that they go to a medium ann out then they could have 250 watts. Mr. Brennan stated that the fiactures
are similar to those at Great Northern Mall, but these are lighting a large area. They had the same
photometric plan that Ms. Miller had. Mr. Tallon stated that this lot is not that large. He advised Ms.
Miller that the commission agreed that this is too much light. He suggested using a medium size fixture
with 200 or 250 watts, since a 400 watt fixture would give too much light. He stated that he doubted
that the farthest point from the pole was 50 feet from the building since it was a small lot. Ms. Miller
stated that the existing four lights are 400 watt low pressure sodium, the-three new poles would be 400
watt inetal halide. Mr. Brennan verified tliat some of these are going to be low pressure sodium. He
suggested that the proposal be tabled and that they come back with a smaller fi}cture that was 250 watts
bulb, and they will take a look at it. Ms. Miller agreed to table the proposal. Mr. Breunan suggested
that they clean up the drawing. IVIr. Tallon clarified that they should present a drawing showiug only
what was to be iustalled with nothing crossed off and tlie photometrics with the 250 watts. Mr. Brennau
would prefer 250 watts per pole, not 250 per head especially if it is metal halide aud he pointed out that
low pressure sodium is a very yellow liglit. Mr. Tallon stated the high pressure is a lighter light, the
height of the poles are fine and they want the photometrics to show the zero at the lot line.
R. Tallon moved to table the Burger King proposal until the next meeting with the following
suggestions: that there only be 250 watts per pole, not per head, that the photometric's show zero foot
candle at the lot lines, and that the plan show exactly what is planned with notluug crossed out. The
motion was seconded by A. Manving, and unanunously approved.
N. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDNISIONS:
No items.
V. COMMUNICATIONS:
No items.
VI.
