?"...r
Alexander's Restaurant, 30850 Lorain Road.
Mr. Craig Dixon, architect, presented a drawing of the fence that is proposed to surround the roof top
mechanical equipment on the roof. He advised that it is the intention of Dr. Patel to put a new mansard
roof around the entire building in the fall. Mr. Yager believed that the mansard would be better than
wood. Mr. Zergott would have no problem as long as there was an agreement that the restaurant
could be closed down if it was not done. Dr. Patel stated that the units that are there are new, and do
not look too bad. The mausard will probably match the existing roof shingles or else it would be metal.
Assistant Building Commissioner Rymarczyk advised that there are some units that are right by the
parapet and, by code, there has to be a guard rail to protect anyone servicing the unit. Dr. Patel will
install a guard rail. Mr. Yager believed that whatever material they chose for a short period of time
would be acceptable, but they would have to come back with the mansard in the fall.
N1r. Rymarczyk asked for a clarification of the minutes regarding McCormick Place since one part of
the minutes stated that the aluuuuum store front system should be burgundy and one stated bronze.
One developer came in with burgundy and the other showed bronze. Mr. Yager stated that he
preferred the burgundy, but there would really be no problem with either of them.
VI. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
6
