r.t -J * ,-a <br />Furniture, 24869 Lorain Road, a special permit to add to non-conforming building (8 foot <br />encroachment into front setback). Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b). Also to <br />grant a 12 foot variance for an addition to front of building as agreed on by the applicant. Violation of <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02. The motion was seconded by J. Maloney, and unauimously approved. <br />Variance and special permit granted. <br />10. Camelot Inn, 22989 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 2 foot 3 inch height variance to change existing ground sign <br />to pylon sign. Also request variance to have changeable copy portion on sign. Violation of Ord. 90- <br />125, Section 1163.12(b) and 1163.04(k). Note: Existing sign is in the 35 foot triangle from Lorain <br />Road right of way to entrance drive. Also the fallen 7 by 28 foot pole sign (199 square feet) is to be <br />eliin'viated entirely. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was aclministered to Mr. <br />Brinkman, sign contractor, who explained that a pole sign had been blown down, and they wanted to <br />change the existing ground sign to a pylon sign by moving it up 2 feet, 3 inches, thus elimiuating a <br />second sign all together. The changeable copy portion had been ou the original pole sign. It was noted <br />that the sign is 12 foot from the right of way line. The members had no problem with the request. W. <br />Purper moved to grant the request to Camelot Inn, 22989 Lorain Road for a 2 foot, 3 inch height <br />variance to change existing ground sign to pylon sign. Also request variance to have changeable copy <br />portion on sign. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(b) and 1163.04(k). Note: Existing sign is <br />in the 35 foot triangle from Loraiti Road right of way to entrance drive. Also the fallen 7 by 28 foot <br />pole sign (199 square feet) is to be el'vniuated entirely. The motion was seconded by T. Kobema, and <br />unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />The uext meeting will be April 17, 1996. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.m. <br />R.
