The oath was adininistered to Mr. <br />DiBenedetto who explained his company owns several strip shopping centers on Brookpark Extension, <br />and many tenants have complained because customers do not know the difference between Brookpark <br />Road and Brookpark Extension. They would like to attach a sign on the Hills sign, which is at the <br />corner of Lorain Road and Sparky, directing people to the Brookpark Extension. This sign will be 8 feet <br />off grade so there would be no problem with obscuring visibility. The members agreed that this is <br />needed. They have a letter of consent from owner of the sign. M. Boyle moved to graut DiBenedetto <br />Building Company, (sign location, 26650 Lorain Itoad), 26697 Brookpark Road Extension, their <br />request for a variance to add attachment to a non-conforming sign. Request variance to have a second shed on property and also request <br />65.6 square foot variance for area of sheds which exceed 2% of the rear yard area. Violation of Ord. <br />90-125, Section 1135.02(d-i). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Buchek. Mr. Purper noted that the shed on the back of the garage was very small. W. Purper moved to <br />grant the request of Joseph Buchek, 5526 Whitehaven Avenue, for a variance to have a second shed on <br />property and also a 65.6 square foot variance for area of sheds wluch exceed 2% of the rear yard area. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d-i).
