T. Liggett moved to accept the Hollywood Video proposal, 4692-4678 Great Northern Blvd., as
presented with the following recommendations: 1) when Hollywood Video does vacate the premises
they need to remove the mouutainscape and return the building back to the original mansard
construction; that the masovey columns that are being added be inore of the warm. wlute as was
discussed at the meeting, to tie in more with Rini-Rego; that there be individual letters instead of letters
ou a raceway; preferably the south corner will be lugher than the original mansard roof; and the north
corner should wrap arouud at least 8 feet. The motion was seconded by M. Yager. Roll call on motion:
Liggett, Yager, and Gallagher, yes. Mr. Zergott, no. Motion carried.
Building Cominissioner Conway presented a picture of the Chesapeake Bagel's sigus wluch the
members had asked to see. The members stated uo objections to the sign.
Regarding the Golf View Homes, there has beeu a change to the cul-de-sac since the Fire Department
had required a hammer head turn around instead of the cul-de-sac. This chauged the landscaping and
inouuding buffer betweeu this development and the adjacent single family development. Mr. Conway is
going to bring tlus back next month with additioual landscaping. Mr. Yager stated that a mound could
be installed there. Mr. Yager had talked with one of the owners, who thought that there was supposed
to be 65 feet between their property and the street. Mr. Couway stated that the buffer was approved at
50 feet by the plamiing commission. Mr. Zergott believed that there should be some kind of a mound,
fence aud landscaping. Mr. Yager agreed. Mr. Conway stated that he would contact the developer and
ask that he try to come to some kind of compromise with the home owners. Mr. Yager stated that if
they did not come to an agreement, he believed that one unit should be removed to make it work.
VI. ADJOURNMENT:
T'he meetiug was adjouiued at 7:15 p.m.

B.
B. Oring, Clerk of Commissions
6
