I
.?
,F f•, . :
VI.
questioned if reducing the size of tlie landscaping and including a small pedestrian walkway would
be acceptable. Mr. Yager believed the previous proposal would_ be more acceptable, as most
people will not use the walkway anyhow. Mr. Liggett advised the pavement along the entry way
was a nice feahue, however, it was unnecessary for the parking lot.
T. Gallagher motioned to approve the proposal with the following suggestions: consider the grill
like wall with the block for the trash bin; evaluate which way the dumpsters will turn; show how
the dumpsters will be ludden; give some idea on the docking hours; shield the docks with
landscaping; mounded along the sidewalks to shield from Great Northern Blvd.; recommend the
ivy on the north side shall be planted along a masonry wall and color coordinated to the existing
building; landscaping plan should be resubmitted for 2 foot or less along the dock area; and the
lighting should be like or similar to the existing; the islands are to remain the same with no cut
through; pillars should be masonry; the landscape plan should be resubmitted to reflect the
changes. The motion was seconded by S. Krieger and unanimously approved. Mr. Zergott can
address the landscaping. W. Gallagher clarified they should be sure there is room for two trucks.
Mr. Conway asked the architect when he will be coming back to planning commission. The
architect believed he would be retunuug on February 25. Mr. Liggett clarified the landscaping
plan and any revised suggestions should be submitted by that time. Mr. Conway agreed to
distribute any revised drawings to the architectural review board members. Mr. Yager questioned
if anything can be submitted to the clerks office, submitted to the architectural review board
inembers for approval, and return to planning commission for the next agenda. Mr. Yager
explained if the landscaping is not presented before Tuesday, Mr. Zergott can review it afterward.
ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
i- Y,!- ?
, Acting Chairmau
A.
