Mr. Yager believed this would add a little <br />bit of life to the facade. It was clarified the recommendation is to include a little Flemish action <br />every fifth or sixth course, as the darker brick will give acceut to the soldier course on the top and <br />the rowlock idea was also acceptable to the board. Mrs. Kopko presented photometrics of the <br />fixtures. It was noted the poles will be 12 feet high. Mrs. Krieger believed, this height combined <br />with the 250 watt bulbs, would create hot spots. Mrs. Kopko believed 12 foot was the maxrimum <br />height permitted. Mr. Potz would like to retain the wattage but had no objections to raising the <br />height of the poles. Mr. Zergott advised planning commission recommended the 12 foot height. <br />The members recommended that the lights reflect towards the building more to disperse the light, <br />keeping it off the properiy lines and reducing the hot spots. <br />T. Gallagher motioned to approve the proposal of Metro Park Builders Office Retail Build.ing, <br />24345 Lorain Road (formerly VFW and Aquarium properties), with the following <br />recommendations: the belden brick and shingle changes are to be accepted as submitted; approve <br />the trim colors as specified; the entrance is to be moved over along with one window so that the <br />entrance is centered; the soldier course and the rowlock are to be used as recommended and <br />approved; landscaping plan is accepted; signage is accepted; dumpster is fine; and the type of <br />lwninaire should be verified in order to prevent hot spots. The motion was seconded by B. <br />Zergott and unauiiuously approved. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />There was no new business. <br />VI.
