<br />W. Purper moved to grant Donut Connection, 27624 Lorain Road, a 20 foot variance for location of <br />ground sign (to replace existing pole sign) and a variance for location of ground sign within the 35 foot <br />prohibited triangular area. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Sections 1163.11(a) and 1163.12(b). This signage <br />is exemp,t from Ord. 90-125 Section 1163.26 pertaining to the amortization of non-conforming signs. <br />The motion was seconded by J. Maloney and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />6. Terry Brennan, 4672 Georgette Avenue <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 10 square foot variance for size of shed (under construction); <br />request 3 foot, 6 inch height variance; and a 5 foot location variance for rear lot line. Violations of Ord. <br />90-125, Sections 1135.92(d)-1-3 and 4. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />' Brennan and Mr. Maruskin., Mr. Gomersall believed the request was excessive and questioned the use <br />of the shed as it is higher than many homes. Mr. Brennan explained this will be used for storage of <br />remote control airplanes, a snow blower, riding lawn mower, and miscellaneous other items. It was <br />noted the neighbor behind would be most effected by the granting of this variance. Mr. Brennan advised <br />the neighbor behind him has sent in a letter advising he has no objection to the.proposed shed. Mr. <br />Maruskin, the neighboring property owner, had no objections to this proposal. The members had no <br />objections to this proposal, since there were no neighbors objecting:. <br />W. Purper moved to grant Terry Brennan, 4672 Georgette Avenue, a 10 square foot variance for size <br />of shed (under construction); a 3 foot, 6 inch height variance;'and a 5-foot location variance for rear lot <br />line: Violations of Ord. 90-125, Sections 1135.92(d)-1-3 and 4. The motion was seconded by T. <br />Koberna and unanimously approved. . 7. Steve Hanlon, 6316 Somerset Dr. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request additional 13 square foot variance for shed under construction <br />(shed exceeds the 30 square foot variance that was granted May 1, 1997). <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d-1).. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested paaties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Hanlon. Mr.` Gomersall wondered why this shed was constructed contraiy to the variance granted on <br />May 1; 1997. Mr. Hanlon advised he originally told the building department that the floor size of the <br />shed would be .ten feet by ten feet which are inside dimensions. He was not aware outside dimensions <br />were needed. The members had no problem with the proposal. .. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Steve Hanlon, 6316 Somerset.Dr., an additional 13 square foot variance for <br />shed. under construction (shed exceeds the 30 square foot variance that was granted May 1, 1997). . <br />Violation of Ord. 94-125,. Section 1135.02(d-1). Mr. Hanlon stated his yard is sloped and the shed may <br />be higher at some points if ineasured from grade leveL Mr. Rymarczyk expiained, for a structure of this <br />nature, they would measure from the middle point.
