<br />9 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 3 foot side yard variance to construct an addirion. Violation of <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07(a). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. and <br />Mrs. Waite. The members had no objections to this proposal. <br />W. Purper moved to grant Jeff and Gigi Waite, 4120 Clague Road, a 3 foot side yard variance to <br />construct an addition. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07(a). <br />Moore's Suits 26324 Lorain Road (located in Silverdale Plazal <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request the following signage variances: A variance to have two <br />building signs; A 96 square foot variance in excess of the total signage allowable for a business use; A <br />variance to have a corporate_name and logo on directional signs; and A 10 foot side yard variance for <br />location of both the east and west directional signs. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section(s) 1163.12 (A), <br />1163.11 (A), 1163.03 (B), and 1163.12 (E). - NOTE: THE NEW SIGNS ARE NON-CONFORMING <br />AND MUST BE REMOVED BY 1/1/98 iTNLESS EXEMPI'ED FROM SECTION 1163.26. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Fitzpatrick, sign contractor. It was noted this request includes a building sign on the east elevation and <br />one on the front. Mr. Fitzpatrick advised the reason two signs are needed is because the building is <br />angled. Mr. Gomersall liked the design of the signage. ? <br />T. Kobema moved to grant Moore's Suits, 26324 Lorain Road (located in Silverdale Plaza), the <br />following signage variances: a variance-to have two building signs; a 96 square foot variance in excess <br />of the total signage allowable for a business use; a variance to have a corporate name and logo on <br />directional signs; and a 10 foot side yard variance for location of both the east and west directional signs. <br />The new signage is exempt from Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.26 pertaining to non-conforming signage. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section(s) 1163.12 (A), 1163.11 (A), 1163.03 (B), and 1163.12 (E). <br />10. Note: Applicant states fence is 1 foot, 6 inches inside <br />his property line.
