Guy Grant, 3858 Walter Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 66 square foot variance to construct a detached garage which <br />would exceed 750 square foot maximum area allowable for combination of garages. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02 (c-3). <br />Chairman Gomersall called-all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Grant, Mr. Hauser and Mrs. Hauser. Mr. Grant agreed to move the shed so that it is 15 feet away from <br />the rear property line in order to accommodate a request made by Mr. and Mrs. Hauser. He was willing <br />to remove the existing shed when the garage is complete. Mr. and Mrs. Hauser had no problem with <br />these modifications. Mr. Gomersall questioned the use of two garages. Mr. Grant advised he has three <br />cars, a motorcycle, five bicycles, ete. Mr. Hauser clarified he would _like the shed removed if the garage <br />variance is granted. Mr. Grant was vvilliug to accommodate his neighbor's request and also agreed to <br />plant some hedges along the fence. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Guy Grant, 3858 Walter Road, the following modified, agreed upon <br />variances: a 66 square foot variance to construct a detached garage which would exceed the 750 <br />square foot maximum area allowable for a combination of garages, and the shed in the back yard is to be <br />removed after the. eompletion of the garage. Violation of :Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02 (c-3). The <br />motion was amended to reflect the fact the garage is to be 15 feet offthe rear properiy. The motion was <br />seconded by R. Gomersall and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />13. Karen 1Vloyer, 4435 Root Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 2 foot-front setback variance to construct covered front porch. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.06(a). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Ms. <br />Moyer. The members had no problem with this request. <br />R. Gomersall moved to grant Karen Moyer, 4435 Root Road, a 2 foot front setback variance to <br />construct covered front porch. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.06(a). The motion was <br />seconded by W. Puiper and unanimously approved. <br />14. Lynn Pierce, 2811 Walter Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 20 foot variance for location of 5 foot high fence to be <br />constructed adjacent to the side setback of the abutting property. Note: fence is to replace existing fence <br />and will match height of other fence on the property. Note: variance for fence was previously granted in <br />1976. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(b). <br />6
