<br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adiniuistered to Ms. <br />Pierce. It was clarified the fence will replace the existing fence along the eastern border of Ms. Pierce's <br />property. The members had no problem with this request. <br />W. Purper moved to grant Lynn Pierce, 2811 Walter Road, a 20 foot variance for location of 5 foot high <br />fence to be constructed adjacent to the side setback of the abutting property. The motion was seconded <br />? by T. Koberna and unanimously approved. <br />15. Cecil Cogar, 4550 Columbia Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 402 square foot variance for total garage area to construct <br />addition to existing detached garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(c)3. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was admiuistered to Mr. <br />Cogar. Mr. Cogar advised the purpose of the request is for storage of two antique vehicles. He noted <br />the.proposed garage is 100 feet away from the nearest neighboring house. Considering the size of the <br />lot, the members had no problem with this request. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Cecil Cogar, 4550 Columbia Road, a 402 square foot variance for total <br />garage area to construct addition to `existing detached garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.02(c)3. The motion was seconded by W. Purper and u.nauimously approved. Variance granted. <br />16. Gary and Carole Conaway, 23611 Marion Road. <br />Request for variance. (1123.12). Request 2' foot sideline variance to build new garage in same location as <br />e}risting detached garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1 i35.02(D) 4. <br />Chairmau Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adininistered to Mr. and <br />Mrs. Conaway. The members had no problem with this request. <br />W. Purper moved to grant Gary and Carole Conaway; 23611 Marion Road, a 2 foot sideline variance to <br />build new garage. in same location as existing detached garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.02(D) 4. The motion was seconded by T. Koberna and unanimously approved. <br />17. G. Knoepp, 3826 Dover Center_ Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 16 foot variance to place 5 or 6 foot fence adjacent to the front <br />setback of the abutting house. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02-(f-2). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board: The oath was administered to Ms. <br />Knoepp: Nlr. Gomersall would like the height of the fence reduced to five feet considering this is a <br />corner lot. He noted that the board received an internet message from a neighbor that had no problem <br />with the request. Ms. Knoepp prefened ta have a six foot fence to prevent her children from going into <br />the ravine. She noted the fence is 8 feet behind the sidewalk. The members insisted on a five foot fence <br />for safety reasons. Ms. Knoepp agreed to reduce tlie fence to a five foot height. <br />W. Purper moved to grant to G. Knoepp, 3826 Dover Center Road, the following modified, agreed <br />upon variance: a 16 foot variance to place a 5 foot fence adjacent to the front setback of the abutting <br />house. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02 (f-2). The motion was seconded by J. Maloney and <br />unavimously°approved. <br />7
