Purper made a motion to grant the request of Ziebart TidyCar, 27935 Lorain Road for a 10 square <br />foot variance for sign area to install a ground sign, with the notation that this sign be exempted from J <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.26 concerning the amortizing ofnon-conforming signs. Violation of Ord. 90- <br />125, Section 1163.12(b). The motion was seconded by T. Koberna, and unanimously approved. <br />Variance granted. <br />13. James Hess. 5443 Burns Road <br />Request for special permit (1123.08). Request special permit to add to a non-conforming dwelling <br />(side yard).. Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b). <br />Vice-ChairnLan Maloney called all interested paaties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Hess, the owner, M. Yager, the architect, and W. Carpenter, the contractor. Mr. Yager explained that <br />the house is only 3 foot from the side property line, and they are going to build an addition on the <br />second floor of the house. W. Maloney stated that the board received a letter that Mr. Yager had sent <br />to the building inspector which explained everytlung. The members had no problem with the request. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant tlie request of James Hess, 5443 Burns Road, for a special permit to add to <br />a non-conforming dwelling (side yard). Special permit requ.ired Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b). The <br />motion was seconded by T. Kobema, and unanimously approved. Special permit granted. <br />14. Dent Wizard, 31395-31399 Loram Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request use variance to do auto repair in a Limited Industry/ Industrial <br />Park District. Auto Repair is not a permitted use in the Limited Industrial District. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1145.03(e). . <br />This request was withdrawn by the developer and will probably be heard in August. <br />15. G. & M. Bayes, 27457 Edgepark Boulevard , <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request a 1.5 foot rear setback variance to construct roof over patio. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.08 (a). <br />Vice-Chairman Maloney called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Bayes, the owner, and Mr. Wagner, the contractor, who explained that they were putting a patio <br />canopy over an existing concrete patio and would be encroaching 18 inches into the rear yard. The <br />members had no problem with the request. <br />T. Koberna moved to grant the request of G. & M. Bayes, 27457 Edgepark Boulevard for a 1:5 foot- --- <br />rear setback variance to construct roof over patio. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.08 (a). The <br />motion was seconded by W. Purper, and unaniinously approved.
