.? ?.. . <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHiTECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTES - MARCH 19, 1986 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order ar 4:58 p.m. <br />Present: M. Case, J. Britton, S. Ebin. <br />Mr. Pattison arrived at 5:05 p.m. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Mr. Ebin moved to approve the Minutes of February 19, 1986 as presented, <br />seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. <br />III. OLD BUSINESS: <br />1) Christ The King Community, located on the west side of Barton Road <br />between I-480 and the North Olmsted corporate line. <br />Amended lighting plan. <br />Originally heard by the Architectural Board July 17, 1985. <br />Mr. Young of Christ The King explained that because units are located <br />in a wooded area, they are now requesting to change lighting plans <br />from post incadescent lights to high pressure sodium lighr which will <br />increase the lummins by 2,000. Lamps will be mounted on the buildings <br />and will:.wash over the yard and street. S. Ebin moved to approve the <br />proposal, seconded by M. Case. Roll call: Ebin, Case, and BriCton. <br />Mr. Pattison abstained because he arrived during the discussion. <br />Mr. Ebin again mentioned.theground sign on P1aza West shopping center, <br />which was approved for the Landspan Corporation with the stipulation that <br />all wiring to that sign be underground. Mr. Ebin stated that the ground <br />sign is still wired from overhead and it is still lighted at night. Mr. <br />Ebin again requested that.the Building Department have the sign discon- <br />nected until these wires are placed underground. <br />IV. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1) Expresso (C. Fazio), west of Rad-Air (24260 Lorain Rd.) <br />Proposal to build kosk for drive-thru doughnut and coffee shop. <br />(Heard by the Planning Commission February 25, 1986), <br />Mr. Fazio presented revised site plan which shows only one driveway as <br />requested by the Planning Commission; additional landscaping has been <br />added in front. Parking shown on plan is for adjacent Rad-Air building; <br />Expresso wi11 only have one employee on the premises-at one time. <br />Building will be Belden brick in reddish earth tones, asphalt shingles <br />may be dark brown, if the window and door frames and the trim are
