<br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS JUNE 4, 1986 PAGE 6 <br />Mr. Graves questioned that status of the illegal barn at 5803 Stearns Road <br />and was advised by Building Commissioner Spino that it was in court. He aiso <br />questioned if anything could be done about a house in disrepair with an <br />inoperable car parked in front on a lot located between Zergot's Landscaping <br />and Donfs Bar. This is the proposed site of Marianne's Bridle Shop and the <br />house is to be torn down. The Building Department will check on the car. <br />He also advised that there is an abandoned van in the parking lot of the <br />Stearns and Lorain parking lot, this should be a police matter. <br />At this point Mr. Remmel re-called the first case: <br />1. Robert & Carolyn Kasler, 3946 Shelley Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 1' height variance for fence. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04 (H). <br />No representative present. The appellant had advised -b?r:a--°Kmmel- that he <br />did not plan to attend the meeting. C. Remmel moved to grant the variance, <br />seconded by E. Graves. Roll call on motion: Remmel, Graves, Bugala, Helon, <br />and Gomersall, No. Motion failed to pass. Variance denied. <br />Mr. Bugala questioned if iron work above Tony Roma's restaurant was being <br />built to contain a sign. Building Commissioner Spino advised that if this <br />is part of the structure of the wall, a sign could be installed on it. <br />Mr. Remmel asked the Building Department to check if a building permit was <br />issued for a 6' fence north of 5988 Columbia Rd.
