BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS APRIL 10, 1986 PAGE 2 <br />variance for the tool shed location for Charles W. Jones, 26730 Butternut <br />Ridge Rd., seconded by R. Helon, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />2. Douglas M. Hall, 4114 Dover Center Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 1' variance for fence. Violation <br />of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-H. Also request variance to have solid <br />fence on corner lot and not 3' from property line. Violation of Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1151.04-H(2). <br />No representative present. Request continued. <br />3. Dennis J. Walsh, 5635 McKenzie Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 18 sq. ft. variance for garage area. <br />violation of Ord. 62--33; Section 1151:04-C. Also-request special permit-to <br />add to non-conforming-dwelling-(front-set back_over 70'): Special per- <br />mission.required Ord.-.-62-33, Section 1231.02. - <br />Vice Chairman Graves called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was adminis_tered to Mr, Walsh who explained-that existing garage will <br />be torn down and this-garage will-be attached to the house and-a-standard <br />size door is to be installed. E. Graves moved to grant the 18 sq. ft. var- <br />iance for garage area and the special permit for Mr. Dennis Walsh, 5635 <br />McKenzie Road, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />and spec3,al permit granted. _ <br />4. D; Dahlen; 25067 Chase Dr. ' <br />Request-for variance--(1133.13). Reques-t 5' rear.yar.d variance-to construct-- <br />patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section=1163.0i: Also request. <br />21 variance between addition and garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1151.04C. Request special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (side- <br />yards). Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Vice Chairman Graves called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr, Dahlen. Mr. Bugala stated that this would <br />not abut any driveways. E. Graves moved to grant both variance and the <br />special permi;t to enclose a patio for Mr. Dahlen, 25067 Chase Dr., seconded <br />by R. Bugalap and unanimously approved. Variarces and special permit granted. <br />5. Taco Be11, 24247 Lorain Rd. ` . <br />Request for varian,ce (1133.13). Request 35 sq. ft. variance for pole sign. <br />Violation of Ord, 62-33, Section 1221.06. (Existing pole sign is 58 sq. ft. <br />and oversized). <br />Vi.ce Chairman Graves calle.d all interested parties_before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Beecher, Wagner Sign Co., who explained that <br />were requesting a smaller sign than the existing orle. At. this point the <br />oath was administered to Ms. McGonigal and Ms. Farland, both representing <br />Taco Bell. They explained that the company is changing the logo and there <br />is no standard sign that conforms to the ordinance. Board would like a con- <br />forming sign. After checking signs listed in the catalogue, they.discovered <br />there was a 50 sq. ft. sign available. It was decided=to withdraw the vari- <br />ance and apply for a conforming sign. Request withdrawn.-
