BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS APRIL 10, 1986 PAGE 3 <br />6. George McClaren, 6091 Burns Rd. <br />Request special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special permit required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Vice Chairman Graves called all interested.parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. McClaren and Mr. Morrison, contractor, who <br />explained the proposal to.enclose the existing front porch, this will en- <br />croach no further into the front set back. R. Bugala moved to grant the <br />special permit, seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. Special <br />permit granted. <br />7. William J. McManusi 5959 Stearns Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 5' variance for distance between <br />addition and adjacent detached garage, Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1151.04--C. <br />Vi.ce Chai.rman Graves called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. and Mrs. McManus_and Mr. Vrabel, who drew the <br />plansa Mx. McManus explained that they wanted to_continue the line of the <br />house and i.f they moved the addition in the five feet it would look more <br />like if was added ont#D.J. Helon moved to grant-the variance of 5 feet for <br />Willzam_J. McManus,.-5959 Stearns_Rd., seconded by E. Graves,-and uanimously._- <br />approved.?-Variance granted. <br />8. Tokyo Shapiro (Simon Sign Co.), 4670 Great Northern Blvd. <br />Request for variance (1133,13). Request 53 sq. ft. variance for total sign <br />area to install conforming ground sign. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1221.06. <br />No representative present, heard at end of ineeting.- <br />9R Michael W. Malone, 23841 Frank St. <br />Request special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special permission required Ord. 62-33! Section 1231.02. <br />Vice Chairman Graves called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr, Malone. Mr. Bugala questioned if there was <br />enough distance between the addition and the garage. This had been checked <br />by the building inspector previously. R. Bugala moved to grant the special <br />request for a non-conformi.ng dwelling at 23841 Frank St. for Michael W. <br />Malone assuming that the addition when put up meets the set back require- <br />ments for the detached garage, seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. <br />Special permit granted. <br />10, Tim and Lisa. Becks, sublot 404 Decker Rd. <br />Re(juest for variance (1133.13). Request 3' total side yard variance to con- <br />struct new dwelling. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1161.01. (Permission <br />also required from Board of Building Code Appeals to build on a lot less <br />than 501 -- to be heard on April 24, 1986). <br />No representative present. Request continued. <br />11, _:.J. Cashin,-5440 Kennedy Ridge =- <br />Request for variance (1133:13). Request 12' rear yard variance for patio <br />enclosure. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01.
