I PAGE # 3 <br />e <br />Other notes concerning the Public Meeting: <br />It was suggested that only the positive aspects of the Historic <br />Districting be discussed, in order to avoid confusion, such <br />aspects such as No.restrictions and the effect the districting <br />would have on future Zoning. <br />Bob Parry suggested taht the Public Meeting be tape recorded and <br />thgLt the recording be given to City Council as part of our <br />information package. <br />Acommittee should be formed in order to help draft the required <br />Ordinance c?ange for Historic Districting. <br />CHANGE IN HBRP REOUIREMENTS <br />As it stands now in order for a home to qualify foi- an HBRP <br />playue the structure must have b en constructed prior to 1900. <br />It was discussed that due to this requirement homeowners of <br />pos'C'1900 homes would not be encouraged to restore and maintain <br />thier homes: It was also thought that once all pre 1900 homes <br />had been identified and resea ched it would limit the scope of <br />the NOLC. It was suggested that any home taht was 85 yeaRs or <br />older if qualified, could be considered for Plaquing. <br />A MOtion was made by Mike Pa`ton and seconded by Bob Parry to <br />change the HBRP requirements as follows: <br />OLD REQ[3IREMENTS: " Compile accurate historical information about <br />buildings erected in NOrth Olmstp-d before 1900" <br />NEW REQUIREMENTS "Compile accurate historical information about <br />North Olmsted buildings that are 85 years of age or older" <br />OLD REQUIREMENTS"The structure was started, finished or taxed <br />prior to 1900. <br />NEW REQUIREMENTS " The structure was' started, finished or taxed <br />at least 85 years before the date of application" <br />The motion was pa'ssed unanimously <br />Mike Patton made a motion to adjourn the Meeting at 9:40 pm <br />which was seconded by Gloria Sell, motion passed and meeting <br />was adjourned <br />f.;, %
