Cyr.l <br />NORTH OLMSTED LANDMARKS COMMISSION <br />OCTOBER 16, 1986 MEETING <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Sharon Fleming_, Chairperson <br />Betty Lord, Robert Perry, Lois VanAuken, Gloria Sell, and <br />Niichael Patton. <br />AGENDA <br />Minutes Correspondence <br />Old Business 1) Butternut Historic District <br />Signs <br />2) Plaques <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:10 PM by <br />Sharon Flemin'g <br />nrt; -+- <br />not read. <br />The minutes from the September 18th Meeting were <br />Correspondence <br />Letter from Ohio Historical Society on a Black <br />History Program. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />1) Butternut Historic District Si <br />Mr. BILL AFTORA from IMPACT SIGNS would not lower <br />the price ($1,000.00) on the Butternut sign. He may be <br />willing to reduce the price on a 2nd and 3rd sign. Mr. <br />AFTORA has been very busy at the Trade fair and has not <br />returned our calls. <br />The Landmark Commission (hereinafter referred <br />to as L.C.) decided to sell alternatives for production <br />and manufacture of the signs. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1) North Olmsted Service Dept. <br />2) Howard Hall - a retired person who does a <br />great deal of woodworking. Lois VanAuken <br />will discuss the project with him.
