; <br />?. • <br />PLANNING COMMISSION JANUARY 14, 1986 PAGE 5 <br />Ord. 86-0: This rezoning was requested by the Planning Commission at the <br />time of the approve of the subdivision for the'Self Service Maxi Wash, <br />since the remaining lot would have been part General Retail and part Resi- <br />dential. J. Burns moved to approve Ord. 86-0, seconded by B. Gorris, and <br />unanimously approved. <br />Ord. 86-3: Mr. Deubelko explained that this ordinance will.require a per- <br />mit must be issued by the forester prior to the removal of any trees on <br />commercial property, including both vacant land and developed property. <br />J. Burns moved to approve Ord. 86-3, seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Election of officers: The Commission decided unanimously to continue with <br />the same officers. Mr. James Burns, as chairman; Mr. Wixted as vice chair- <br />man; and Mrs. Brown as secretary and as the Planning Commission representa- <br />tive to the Landmarks Commission. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />The Planning Commission sent a letter to retiring Building Commissioner <br />Ernest Gundy, and requested that it be ma.de part of the minutes (see ' <br />attached). <br />Assistant Law Director Dubelko advised that regarding the Pick and Pay <br />parking lot in Great_Northern Shopping_.Center., this lot can be included <br />in the total-_ parking .re.quirements _ for _the entire shopping:- center. - <br />VIII. -COMMITTEE REPORTS: - <br />Cha'irman Burns announced that the combined meeting of the Transportation <br />Study Committee with Council and Planning Commission will be January 27th <br />at 6:00 p.m. IX. ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />T. Morgan moved to excuse the absence of J. Wixted, seconded by J.
