CITY OF NORTH OMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - OCTOBER 2, 1985 <br />Ehairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Prbsent: R. Bugala, R. Gomersall, E. Graves, J. Helon, and C. Remmel <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy, <br />Councilwoman Y. Petrigac, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />R. Bugala moved to approve the..Minutes of September 4, 1985 as prepared, <br />seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. <br />Chairman Remmel announced that case number 6 has been withdrawn and case <br />number 5 will be heard at the end of the meeting. <br />1. Robert F. Brennan, 24207 and 24193 Mastick Road • <br />Rehearing of request heard June 13, 1985. Request for variance to sub- <br />divide lot containing 2 homes, located in "A" residential district. Request <br />5' variance for width of both lots. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1157.01-A. Request 3,895 sq. ft. variance for area of sublot 1 and request <br />2,984 sq. ft. variance for.area of sublot 2. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1153.01. Also request variance for depth of lots (less than 135' deep). <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1157.01-C. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Brennan. There are two houses on one lot and sub- <br />division was recommended by Planning Commission. E. Graves moved to grant <br />the request of Robert Brennan for variances to subdivide lot containing two <br />homes in an "A" residential district and his request for a 5' variance for <br />width of both lots, and also to approve a request for depth of both lots <br />less than 135` deep and for the area variance of 2,984 and 3,895 sq. ft., <br />seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. <br />2. Noreen Drive Subdivision - property located at the southeast corner of the <br />Walter Road and Noreen Drive intersection <br />Request for.variance (1133.13). Request variance to subdivide one lot into <br />three. Request 4.46' variance for depth of sublot 1. Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1157.01-C. Request 3.35 variance for width of sublot 2(corner lot). <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1157.01 B. (Lots located in"C" Residential <br />District). Referred by Planning Commission September 10, 1985. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Valore, the owner. Planning Commission had recom- <br />mended approval. C. Remmel moved to grant a variance to subdivide one lot <br />into three with a 4.45 variance for depth of sublot 1; a 3.35' variance for <br />width of sublot 2, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. <br />3. Standard Oil Co., 29131 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 46.5' front set back variance for <br />canopy. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1174.02.
