BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OCTOBER 2, 1985 PAGE 2 <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Fillingim who explained that Standard Oil was <br />going to install underground tanks at this dealer station and at the same <br />time they would like to install the canopy. Mr. Remmel stated this is a <br />big encroachment. It was suggested that he come back with some type of <br />modified plan. Mr. Bugala does not believe that the size of this lot can <br />accommodate a canopy. Since this is a dealer station, they cannot-move <br />the building. It was suggested that they cover only the rear pumps. Mr. <br />Fillingim agreed to withdraw his request until the next meeting. <br />4. Jerome and Sandy Bound, 5338 Columbia Rd. <br />.Request for variance (1133.13). Request 14' rear yard variance for porch <br />enclosure. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.11. Also request special <br />permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). Special permit <br />required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to'Mr. Simmons, Patio Enclosures. This is an irregular <br />lot and_.they are en'closing an existing structure. R. Bugala moved to --grant the 14' rear yard variance for a porch enclosure and the special per-'- --;_ -- <br />mit, seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. Variance and special <br />permit granted. <br />5. Country Club Condominium Owners' Association, 5141 Victoria Lane. <br />Heard at end of ineeting. <br />6. Eugene ;Joyce, 5842 Elmhurst Rd. <br />Request. for - var.iance (1133.13). Request for variance to sell pumpkins <br />from October 1, 1985 to October 31, 1985 in a Residential District. Vio- <br />lation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.01. <br />Withdrawn by appellant. <br />7. Ronald Wagner, 30935 Old.Shori- Drive <br />Request for variance (1133.1'(). Request 10' rear yard variance to construct <br />roof over deck. Violation oi Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called al1 interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Wagner who explained that this is just a roof over <br />a deck. Property backs up to commercial property. C. Remmel moved to <br />grant a variance to construct a 14' roof over the deck, seconded by J. <br />Helon, and unanimously approved. <br />Heard at this point <br />5.- Country Club Condominium Qwners' Association, 5141 Victoria Lane <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request-variance for country club building <br />located less than 200' from a residential area. Also request 30' variance <br />for parking area adjacerit to multi-family district. Violation of Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1151.01-B. Also request 4' variance for fence. Violation of Ord. <br />62-33, Section 1151.04-H._ <br />Chairman Remmel called all i:terested parties before'the Board. The oath
