Building will be refurbished, but <br />will remain a full service station, there will be no grocery sales. Chair- <br />man Remmel pointed out that this is the third time they have revised their <br />plans. Mr. Bugala commented that the majority of gas stations in North <br />Olmsted need a variance to install a canapy and he believes that the law <br />should be changed. Law Director Gareau.stated that the Board can estab- <br />lish its own policy regarding set backs for canopies. He also pointed <br />outthat this is an odd shaped lot and that one o£ the standards for <br />granti.ng a-variance is the size, shape, and topography-of the property--. <br />involved. C. Remmel-moved to grant--the 4' variance on the point and the <br />4' side set back variance on the Lorain Road side and a 8'6" side set ' <br />back variance on the Lorain Road side and a 8'6" side set back variance on <br />the Butternut Ridge Road side, seconded by R. Gomersall. Roll call on <br />motion: Remmel, Gomersall, Graves, and Helon, Aye. Bugala, Nay. <br />Motion passed. Variance granted. <br />The meet-ing was adjourned at 8:50 p.m. <br /> <br />C.
