?lx?f?w <br />1 <br />MQVUTES OF LAND\IAM CCIA?ffSSION <br />MEETING OF OCIOBER 17,1985 <br />Present: Chairperson Betty Lord, Gloria Sell, Robert Parry, Sharon Flemming., <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:10 p.m. The minutes from the last <br />two meetings were approved with minor corrections. <br />Correspondence - The current issue of Preservation News was passed around <br />for general information. <br />Don Copeland, Project Manager of CLG, wrote a letter to Washington discuss- <br />ino N.O. success in their Grant Work and gave thanks for the Ohio Historic <br />Preservation Office's support. <br />Goals - The proposed designation of the Butternut Ridge Road Historic District <br />was discussed. The Comm.'s work was read over during the meeting and the <br />information packet will be presented to the Planning Comm. and then the <br />packet will be presented during a Public Hearing. After the Public Hearing, <br />a transcript or summary of the meeting and hearing will be sent to the <br />Council. <br />The Butternut Packet was accepted by the Comm, without any changes. Robert <br />made the motion £or acceptance and Gloria seconded it. The Packet was <br />unamimously passed. <br />The Butternut Packet will be presented by Betty Lord during the next Planning . <br />Comm. Meeting on October 22,1985. <br />Committee Reports- It was reported by Betty Lord that money is left from <br />the CLG Grant Funds and Frank Levilio has suggested that the N.O.L.C. work <br />towards gaining those funds. Don Copeland wrote that about $1300.00 is <br />available. N.O.L.C. must document and record the amount of time spent <br />working. This information would be sent to D.C. and the available money <br />would come trough into the General Fund. This money could help to reimburse <br />the N.O.L.C. for printing costs. Don Copeland will send the documents as <br />the Comm. is ready. <br />The estimated work time is as discussed during the meeting: <br />100 hours of typing, approx. 9 hours of computer use, <br />20-25 hours of camara work and about 20 hours of office time. <br />Old Business- Open House letters went out on Thursday, October lOth. The N.O.L.C. expects about 25 people to attend. Additional publicity was <br />available in the Westlife Newspaper from Flash.
