COPELAND Someone else would have to work under Leslie. Would have to be <br />designed so that Leslie would not spend all her time supervising, <br />can another person realistically do other tasks? <br />TREW Two persons can work very quickly - suggest in order that everything <br />be fulfilled on time no matter what date, we hire another persnn. <br />COPELAND Need input on another person, how many hours a day, what dates, <br />etc., need ball park figures. - <br />PERRY Can you come back in one week with approximate figures worked out? <br />COPELAND We are out on a limb without input, must know what you can accom- <br />plish before we can feel comfortable with the 7/8 date. We <br />have only three alternatives: Retain you with another person to <br />assist - Have 8/1 completion date - Replace you. We positively <br />do not want to fall short of 100% completion and have to return <br />.. money. We are getting resistance from you to commit figures. <br />TREW I do not want to commit figures, and do not want to encounter any <br />more ugly situations. I would like to complete all research and <br />all forms and writing by 7/8. In order that 100% completiong <br />can be reached it may be advantageous to hire additional person <br />to help with work required in ARchives and Administration Building. <br />COPELAND Without o figures we are left holding the bag, need input as to <br />what you can realistically accomplish. <br />TREW 100% completion with someone to help doing archives work. <br />PERRY Does it make difference who we hire? We have end of May progress <br />report to file, what about it? <br />COPELAND We will have to get someone to fit role, can we get the input <br />we need for this commission? <br />TREW I do not know how many hours it takes to complete forms. <br />COPELAND We need an answer in a general sense. <br />LORD Can you give us some figures based on one-weeks work? <br />PERRY Perhaps you could even take four random properties, research, <br /> etc., and give us a time frame. <br />COPELAND Will you give us this input and when. <br />TREW Will present time schedule, and give complete breakdown on Thurs- <br /> day, May 23rd. at 4:30 P.M. <br />PERRY Then next Thursday we will have questions answered so we can <br /> arrange to hire someone else or additional if necessary. Also <br /> want file copies made of all i.nformation and kep here for our use, <br /> please bring everything with you on Thursday. <br />COPELAND Expressed concern about time frame of hiring someone else. <br />-4-
