ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: B. Gorris, T. Morgan, E. Traczyk, J. Wixted, J. Brown, <br />and J. Burns. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner <br />E. Gundy, City Engineer J. Schaller, Councilman R. Tallon <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />Chairman Burns advised that the Thomas Assembly Plat has been withdrawn <br />from the agenda; however, he requested Building Commissioner Gundy to <br />give report regarding parking requirements for shopping center that <br />was requested at the last meeting. Mr. Gundy advised that the lot <br />in question was not needed to fulfill the parking required for tYie strip <br />center on Lorain; the adjacent parking was sufficient. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINiJTES: <br />Mr. Gorris corrected the minutes of February 8th to add the word "of" <br />on the end of the last line of the first page. B. Gorris moved to <br />approve the minutes of February 8, 1985 as corrected, seconded by J. <br />Wixted, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTNIENT REQUESTS: <br />1) Earl Scheib, 27105 Lorain Rd. <br />No representative was present. Proposal heard later in meeting. <br />2) Malley's Candies, 23473 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal for exterior alteration to existing building <br />(Heard by the Architectural Board of Review February 20, 1985.) <br />Mr. Wagner, the contractor, presented chart showing materials and <br />pictures of existing building and explained proposal. Architectural <br />Board had approved as presented. Commission agreed that this will <br />be an improvement. J. Wixted moved to approve the proposal for <br />the exterior alteration to the existing Malley's Candies Building <br />located at 23473 Lorain Rd., seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />3) Timber Trails Home Owners Association, <br />Proposal to install two (2) ground signs in public right of way of <br />Hickory Lane near Lorain Road.
