Morgan moved that the proposal to construct an addition to <br />Mr. Carburetor be approved as presented, and that sign also be approved <br />provided it meets the requirements of the code, seconded by J. Brown, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />1) Request for curb opening onto Brookpark Road Extension for rear <br />driveway access for parcel 232-26-10 (formerly Banc Ohio; north side of <br />Lorain Road east of Sparky Lane. <br />Engineer J. Schaller and S. DiBenedetto explained proposal. Private <br />drive from auto teller of First Federal Savings and Loan of Lakewood <br />will exit onto Brookpark Ext. Plan for the private road had been ap- <br />proved in 1979 when the State Wholesale property was developed. Drive- <br />way will be chained at night. B. Gorris moved to approve curb cut <br />allowing access to Brookpark Ext. on property housing former Banc Ohio, <br />seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />No items. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Mr. Burns reported on transportation committee which met Saturday March 23rd. <br />Committee discussed: 1) Widening exit and entrance ramps on 1480 and widening <br />Clague Road between 1480 and Lorain Road; 2) Completion of the former plan <br />to continue Brookpark to Brookpark Ext. to North Park to the proposed <br />Bassett Stearns; 3) Construction of Bassett Stearns; 4) Widening of Butter- <br />nut Ridge. Mr. Burns explained that they discussed several possibilities <br />for an east-west artery in order to relieve traffic on Lorain Road. <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT: <br />J. Brown moved to excuse the absence of E. Traczyk and J. Wixted, seconded <br />by B. Gorris and unanimously approved. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 p.m. <br />U/? <br />J.
