• <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JULY 9, 1985 <br />PAGE 5 <br />will be installed. They will consider increasing some areas. Mr. <br />Wixted would like the Safety Department to review the two curb cuts <br />and believes tfiat additional-.traffic will be generated by the car wash. <br />J. Wixted moved to refer the proposal to construct a gas station, <br />food mart, and car wash by Shell Oil Co, at 25199 Lorain Road at Great <br />Northern Blvd, to the Architectural Board of Review for their review <br />and consideration and also refer this proposal in view of the ctaang- <br />ing nature of the business that will take place on this-parcel to the <br />Safety Department for their review of any traffic problems that may be <br />created by the northern most curb cut on Great Northern Blvd. and the <br />western most curb cut on Lorain Road and in its entirety all four curb -- <br />cuts and their location, seconded by J.444?-t-&&, and unanimously ap- <br />proved: - Brown <br />Iz. REVIEW AND_CORRECTION pF_MINUTES: <br />Mr, Wixted amended- the -minutes of June-25th- on -page-3,--third line- from-the - <br />bottom of first section, delete the words "get some.feel as to-" and insert _ <br />determine, should read •"....to be presented-before -this -Commission at such <br />time so we can review this so called.test_to determine-whether-the test- <br />worked as originally proposed...." on page-4,- eighth line from top, after <br />the words-"look at it" insert the word "with",.should read "...look at it <br />with respect..e" J. Wixted moved to approve the minutes of June 25, 1985, <br />as amended, seconded by J. Burns, and unanimously approved. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS:- <br />Chairman Burns read a letter from R. Carlisle, Biskind Development Company- - <br />which reads as follows: - <br />Mr. James Burns/ Chairman/ Planning Commission/ City of North <br />Olmsted/ North Olmsted, Ohio 44070/ Dear Mr. Burns:/ I would like <br />to take this opportunity to confirm to you Biskind Development <br />Company's commitment concerning review of the parking variance <br />granted to us by the Board of Zoning Appeals on June 24, 1985./ <br />We intend to retain William T. Jackman & Associates, Traffic <br />Engineering Consultants, to evaluate the parking design we pro- <br />pose to implement. Upon completion of the analysis, we will be <br />pleased to meet with the Planning Commission to review our find= <br />ings with youe/ Thanlc you for your cooperation in this matter. <br />If there are any questions or further information you require at <br />this time, please do not hesitate to call./Yours very truly,/ <br />Richard L. Carlisle. <br />Ord. 85-68: Ordinance is to rezone property located'in Pheasant's Walk <br />from General Retail Business to Single Residence "B" District as requested <br />by Planning Commission previously. J. Burns moved_to approve Ord. 85-68, <br />seconded by B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. _ <br />Chairman Burns asked the Law Department to look into a variance granted <br />June 11, 1985 by the Board of Zoning Appeals_to subdivide one parcel into -- <br />two. Unde-r Ordinance 84-125 that-was passed_January 16, 1985, -that proposal.___
