Nemeth, approximately 29328 Lorain Rd.
Proposal to construct strip shopping center
Heard by Architectural Board of Review June 19, 1485.
Mr. Nemeth and Mr. Solte Architect, presented revised plans which
show rear screening for roof top mechanical units and landscape plan
as required by the Architectural Board of Review. Safety Department
report was read, neither Police or Fire Department had any problem with
proposal. Mr. Morgan stated that he would prefer one central driveway
ra.th er than the proposed 2 curb cuts on Lorain Road. He would like
to avoid the problem of too many driveways on the west end of town
since it is relatively undeveloped commercially; east side of town
has this problem. Mr. Solte stated that 2 drives will provide a better
traffic pattern especially since there is a possibility of a drive thru
window for a bank. Mrs. Traczyk is still concerned about the adjacent
Fire Department driveway on the west; at times the Fire Department does
not activate the light when coming out. Councilman Wilamosky questioned
that there is no loading dock as required by ordinance. This can be
included, however, Mr. Nemeth does not think that this type of shopping
center would need one. Mr. Wilamosky agrees with Mr. Morgan that the
development of the western end of the city should be watched carefully.
He-questioned the size of the dumpster and would like to see a location
allocated if additional containers are needed.- Architectural Board of
