. .? <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW JANUARY 16, 1985 PAGE 2 <br />are higher than 3' above the roof level they must be screened; and <br />that the signage for the new building addition and the existing build- <br />ing,which is to be leased, all be coordinated to make a unified ap- <br />pearance for the total complex and that the signs for the leased area <br />and for the addition be submitted to this Board in addition to the <br />Building Department, seconded by J. Cavaluchi, and unanimously approved. <br />b) Earl Scheib, 27105.Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal for exterior alteration to existing building. <br />Referred by Planning Commission January 8, 1985. <br />Mr. Liwosz, the contractor, explained that existing windows will be <br />cqvered with Texture T-111 vertical siding in charcoal Qray with <br />light gray trim; light gray overhead door will be installed; exist- <br />ing sandstone and aluminum canopy will remain. Remainder of building <br />will be painted and a new roof.will be added in the summer. Board <br />agreed that this still looked like a boarded up building, and sug- <br />gested that siding could be extended to grade; light fixtures could <br />be added for decoration; and sone type of treatment could be included <br />on east wall to bring some unity to building. Board would Iike plans <br />restudied and resubmitted and would be willing to ca11 a special meet- <br />ing if requested. M. Case moved to table the Earl Scheib proposal and <br />request that the cantractor and owner restudy and return with revised <br />plans, seconded by J. Cavaluchi, and unanimously approved. <br />VI.
