l ? <br />t <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTES - JULY 17, 1985 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Acting Chairman Ebin called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m. <br />Present: S. Ebin and R. Mongello <br />Absent: M. Case and J. Cavaluchi <br />Also Present: B. Oring, Recording Secretary -; II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />R. Mongello moved to approve the Minutes of June 19, 1985 as submitted, sec- <br />onded by S. Ebin, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />Heard with building plans. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />1) Ernest Nemeth (Biskup, Rowe, and Assoc.), approximately 29328 Lorain Rd. <br />Landscape plan and rear mechanical screening. <br />Mr. Solte and Mr. Nemeth presented landscaping and mechanical screening <br />plan requested at the June 19th meeting. Evergreens will be planted in <br />front planting strip, taller evergreens are planned along the western <br />property line and also around the dumpster in the north eastern corner <br />of the property. Mr. Nemeth advised that Planning Commission and Council <br />had approved proposal with the stipulation that only one driveway can be <br />installed. Mr. Nemeth is appealing this to Council. This plan shows the <br />original two curb cuts. If the developer does not get relief from this <br />restriction, he will have to return to the Architectural Board with a <br />new landscaping plan. Three types of screening were presented. The <br />Board agreed that the fine mesh, approximately 1/8" grid, was acceptable. <br />The screening wi11 return at least 5 to 7' around the sides of the units. <br />Metal supports will be painted the same dark brown. R. Mongello moved to <br />approve the Nemeth Shopping Center landscape and screening plans as pre- <br />sented subject to the two entry drives being reviewed by the Planning <br />Commission, but if there is any change in this plan, a new landscape plan <br />must be submitted to the Architectural Board; and that the roof mounted <br />air conditioner be screened by a galvanized metal mesh painted to match <br />the facia,.seconded by S. Ebin, and unanimously approved. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1) St. Brendans Church, (N. E. Del-Guidic.e_Assoe.), Kenny and Brendan Lanes. <br />Proposal to construct church. <br />Mr. Del Guidice; Architect, explained that building will be Cambian clay
