R. <br />Mongello moved to approve the plans for St. Brendans Church as submitted, <br />seconded by S. Ebin, and unanimously approved. <br />2) Christ The King Community (R. Fleischman, Architects) located on the west <br />side of Barton Rd. between I-480 and the North Olmsted corporate line. <br />Detailed development plans for residential units for first phase of <br />community. (Concept plans approved previously). <br />Mr. J. Young presented detailed plans for first phase (residential units), <br />models will be built first and other units built on a pre-sold basis. <br />Eight footsidewaTks, (in front of house, behind the garages) will connect <br />the homes(garages are attached only by a roof in front of the house). Secur- <br />ity lighting is planned. Some small landscaping areas are planned in front <br />of each house. As many existing trees as possible wi11 be saved. Center <br />court yard will be all existing pin oaks. Building will be natural stain <br />rough sawn cedar siding with a dark brown roof, Anderson windows with vinyl <br />clad brown trim, and gutters and down spouts will be brown. S. Ebin moved <br />to approve plans as submitted, seconded by R. Mongello, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />3) Marianne Bridal Shop (R. Mongello and Assoc.), 29895 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct retail strip shopping center. <br />Mr. Chil1 from Mongello and Associates presented the revised plans show- <br />ing one driveway as requested by Planning Commission. Building will be <br />off white brick, mortar wi11 probably be gray, wood columns, facia and <br />down spouts wi.l1 be white, and clear glass windows will have dark bronze <br />aluminum frames. Dumpster has been relocated to side of building at rear <br />and loading dock is included as recommended by the Planning Commission. <br />Landscaping plan shows arborvitae on western property line and front plant- <br />ing strip will be landscaped with dorthea crab; cottoneaster and English <br />ivy will be planted around base of ground sign. Sign panel on building <br />will be white, Marianne sign will have blue or black lettering, and signs <br />for other units will probably be dark letters on white sign panel. Ground <br />sign will have Marianne's sign on top, again with white background and <br />blue or black letters, signs for other units will be installed as leased. <br />S. Ebin moved to approve the plans for Marianne's Bridal Shop as submitted, <br />seconded by R. Mongello. Ro11 ca11 on motion: Ebin, aye. Mongello, <br />abstained. <br />4) Halleen Chevrolet, Inc. (R. W. Kohanski, Architect), located on the south <br />side of Lorain Road, west of 27845 Lorain Rd. (Pizza Hut). <br />Proposal to construct truck dealership. <br />R.
