Mechanical units will be on the ground at the <br />rear of the building (not shown on plan), only exhaust fans will be on <br />roof. C.E.I. pole lights will be directed onto property, there will,be <br />no exterior lighting on building. Pole sign menu?sign and building sign <br />are shown on p1aris but dimensions are not available and have not been ap- <br />proved by the Building Commissioner; they will submit sign package to <br />this Board at a later date.. S. Ebin moved to approve the plans provi- <br />ding that all electrical wiring on the site is underground, and pro- <br />viding that any mechanical equipment including exhaust over kitchen <br />area or, on any area of the roof that is higher than 12" be screened <br />and that that screening be submitted to this Board; all signs must also <br />be submitted to this Board, seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. <br />d) Self Service Maxi Wash, corner of Lorain and Root Roads. <br />proposal to construct car wash and lubrication shop. <br />Mr. R. Arnold presented revised plan with one driveway on Lorain and <br />explained that there are two separate businesses, a car wash and a lube <br />center. The only sign to be approved now will be the pole sign (Pennzoil) <br />which conforms to code, if they can get a smaller sign, they will come back <br />with that sign with a changeable copy board below. There wi11 also be <br />some small (less than 4 sq, ft.) iriformational signs.Exteriors of build- <br />ings will differ, car wash building will be dark burnt umber split face <br />brick; lube center will be desert buff brick with glass panel overhead <br />doors with a dark bronze trim and man doors. Bronze mansard is 12" <br />above galvanized roof over car wash and will probably cover all stacks <br />on roof. The lube center will not have the mansard, and will have a <br />rubber roof. S. Ebin moved to approve the plans as submitted pro- <br />viding that the electrical service is underground, and also to approve <br />the pole sign as submitted providing that the electrical service is <br />underground, seconded by M.
