Request 3z ft. variance for patio cover. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. Mr. Horvath, <br />an adjacent neighbor,asked to be excused from hearing the request. Mr. <br />Remmel questioned the dimensions as shown on the plot plan. He believed <br />that a larger variance should be required. Patio roof is already under <br />construction. Building inspector had verified measurements and had made <br />one correction. Mr. Horvath,neighbor to the rear, stated that he also <br />questioned the measurements, however, he would have no objection to a 32 <br />foot variance. E. Graves moved to grant a 312 ft. variance subject to an <br />accurate tneasurement by the building inspector, seconded by R. Bugala. <br />Roll call on motion: Graves, Bugala, and Remmel, Aye. Mr. Horvath had <br />been excused from voting. Mr. Gundy will ask the Engineering Department <br />to suxvey the p.rope7rty. Variance granted. <br />Z, Patrick J. English, 25367 Butternut Ridge Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 17.5 ft. front set back variance <br />to move house on same lot. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1159.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. English, his brother, Mr. Johanson, and neighbors, <br />Mrs. Albright and Mr. Sharp. House is being moved because State is taking <br />some frontage on Butternut Ridge for relocated 252. Mr. English will have <br />access to the new road and the house wi11 be turned to face 252. Neighbors <br />have no olijection; prefer to keep property residential, since there have <br />been requests for rezoning in the area. R. Bugala moved to accept the <br />variance, seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />Ehairman Remmel advised students in the audience of the responsibilities <br />of the Board. <br />3. Campils Italian Restaurant (formerly Watertower), 4862 Dover Center Rd. <br />. Request for variance (1133.13). Request 6 sq. ft. variance for oversize <br />wall sign. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1221.06. <br />Chairman Remme1 called all interested parties before the Board. the oath <br />was administered to Mr. Ross Cary, the owner. Previous sign did conform <br />to the Ordinances, Board agreed that sign can be made to conform by re- <br />ducing size of menu boardo Mr. Cary stated that appearance of sign will <br />be better if inenu board is larger than logo. C. Remmel moved to grant <br />the variance, seconded by E. Graves. Roll call on motion: Remmel, <br />Graves, Bugala, and Horvath, Nay. Motion failed to pass. Variance <br />denied, <br />Mr. Graves questioned if Ord. 83-124 had been passed.
