ROLL CALL: <br />CITY OF NORT.H OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES - JANUARY 10, 1984 <br />Chairman Morgan called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m. <br />Present: J. Burns, B. Gorris, E. Traczyk, J. Wixted, J. Brown, and <br />T. Morgan. <br />Absent: J. Roberts <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building.Commissioner E. <br />Gundy, Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, Council members <br />Y. Petrigac, R. Bierman, and R. Tallon, and Recording Secre- <br />tary B. Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />In the Minutes of December 13, 1983 on page 4, line 5 should read "...J. <br />Burns moved to reject Ord. 83-137 and in it place to recommend the elimin-- <br />ation of reference to..."; also, line 8 Section number should read 1174.03. <br />, Also Page 3 under NEW BUSINESS: line 4 should read "...since there will be <br />no BZD meeting in December prior to our meeting again..." B. Gorris moved <br />to approve.the Minutes of December 13, 1983 with the corrections as previ- <br />ously discussed, secondedby J. Burns, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(1) Great Northern Dodge, 26100 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct detached building for bo.dy shop and parts store <br />on existing dealexshi.p property. <br />Referred from Architectural Board of Review on December 21, 1983. <br />The Commission studied the proposal in conjunction with the Architec- <br />tural Board of Review Minutes of December 21, 1983. Building will be <br />the same as originally proposed, however it has been turned 900 anc' <br />will be obscured from Lorain Road by the existing building. Assistant <br />City Engineer D. McDermott advised Mr.•Hendershot of_the C. T. Taylor <br />Co. that in all possibility a retention system would be required. Mr. <br />Hendershot stated that someone in the Engineering Department had told <br />tliem that it would not be necessary. He will discuss this with Mr. <br />McDermott later. J. Burns moved to approve the proposed construction <br />of the detached building for Great Northern Dodge, with the contingency <br />that the retention of the run off water meets the approval of the En- <br />gineering Dept., seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />(2) Fairview/North Olmsted Medical Office Center, Lorain and Columbia Rd. <br />intersection. <br />Proposal to construct Medical Office Building <br />Referred from Architectural Board of Review on December 21, 1983. <br />Mr. Rankin, contractor, and K.
