ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Morgan called the meeting to order at 8:25 p.m. <br />Present: J. Burns, J. Roberts, E. Traczyk, and T. Morgan <br />Absent: B. Gorris, J. Wixted, and J. Brown <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner <br />E. Gundy, Assistant Engineer D. McDermott, Councilman <br />R. Bierman, and Recording-Secretary B. Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />J. Roberts moved to approve the Minutes of April 24, 1984 as submitted, <br />seconded by J. Burns, and unanimously approved, <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1) Bryant and Stratton Business Institute, 26700 Brookpark Rd. Ext. <br />Proposal to construct addition? <br />(Continued from Planning Commission April 24, 1984). <br />Mr. Hatters of Ray Fo.gg Building Methods and Mr. Anderson of Bryant and <br />Stratton explained that the present proposal includes only their own <br />property (both owned and leased); Gold Circle property is not shown. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy stated that parking conforms to code; Gold <br />Circle will have to remove fenced enclosure in order for their parking <br />to conform. Mr. Farmer of Gold Circle was in the audience and stated <br />that he understood that the request for the nursery enclosure had been <br />denied by the City. The Architectural Board of Review had approved <br />the 7,500 square foot addtition as submitted. J. Burns moved to ap- <br />prove the proposed addition to the Bryant and Stratton Business Insti- <br />tute as submitted, seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />3) Manor Care Nursing Home, 23225 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct addition to nursing home. <br />Mr. San Antonio presented plans for the two story, 2,300 sq. ft. ad- <br />dition to,be used as a visitors lounge, conference room, office and <br />activities area. Addition will not extend any further toward Lorain <br />Road than the present building. No beds are being added and no new <br />parking is required. Plans were explained to neighbors who had no <br />objections. It was clarified that nothing would be constructed in <br />the rear of property which is zoned residential. One neighbor com- <br />plained about dumpster being emptied at 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. Mr. San <br />- Antonio will try to have this corrected. E. Traczyk moved to refer <br />the Manor Care proposal to construct an addition at 23225 Lorain Road
