Burns, J. Roberts, E. Traczyk, J. Wixted, and J. Brown <br />B. Gorris arrived at 8:05 p.m. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner <br />E. Gundy, Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, Council- <br />man R. Tallon, and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />J. Roberts moved to approve the Minutes of May 9, 1984, seconded by J. <br />Burns, and unanimously approved. . , <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1) Eye Works, Inc. and Tony Valore Builders, 26127 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to alter existing office building for sales area and <br />separate office areao <br />Mr. J. Vargo, T. Valore, and Mr: Stephenson explained that the former <br />AAR office building will be converted to an eye care office (sales <br />area and examining rooms) and a small area will be converted to a <br />separate office for Valore Builders. Some windows will be blocked off. <br />Parking conforms to code. Signage will be submitted to the Architect- <br />ural Board of Review. The developers would like to put the larger <br />sign on the Brookpark side of the building, this must be approved by <br />the Building Commissioner. B. Gorris moved to refer the Eye Works/ <br />Tony Valore Builders proposal to alter existing office building.at <br />26127 Lorain Rd to the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by <br />J. Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />2) Sisters Chicken and Biscuits <br />Heard later in the meeting. <br />3) Manor Care Nursing Home, 23225 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct addition. <br />(Heard by Architectural Board.of Review May 16, 1984.) <br />Architectural Board of Review has made no recommendations. Mr. San <br />Antonio, representing the owner, stated that the addition will match <br />the existing building. J. Roberts moved to approve the proposed <br />construction of the addition to the Manor Care Nursing home at 23225 <br />Lorain Rd., seconded by J. Wixted, and unanimously approved. <br />4) Michael O1Grady, 31400 Bradley Rd. <br />Proposal to construct addition to industrial building. <br />(Heard by Architectural Board of Review May 16, 1984.)
