COMMUNICATIONS:_ <br />Letter from Landmarks Commission thanking the Planning Commission for <br />their support in attempting to obtaining matching grant funds. <br />Notice from the Clerk of Council that there will be a meeting of the ad <br />• hoc planning committee of Council on August 2nd at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall <br />regarding the sign ordinance. <br />Ord. 84-67: Mr: Burns has reviewed the ordinance and it does accomplish <br />what Planning Commission had recommended. J. Burns moved to approve <br />Ord. 84-67, seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. <br />VI. NEW.BUSINESS: <br />No items <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS; <br />Mrs. Brown attended a workshop regarding historical districts earlier <br />in the day and'will report on it at a later meeting. <br />Commission will not be meeting in August, the next meeting will be <br />September llth. <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT: <br />T. Morgan moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Traczyk and Mr. Roberts, <br />seconded by J.
