. <br />? <br />3 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES - NOVEMBER 13, 1984 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Morgan called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: J. Burns, E. Traczyk, J. Brown, and T. Morgan <br />Absent: B. Gorris and J. Wixted <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant Law Director J. <br />Dubelko, Council members R. Bierman, Y. Petrigac, and T. <br />0'Grady, and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />E. Traczyk moved to approve the Minutes of October 23, 1984 as stands, <br />seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTSs <br />1) Marc's, 26393 Great Northern Shopping Center <br />Proposal to construct addition to rear of store. <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review October 17, 1984. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy advised that Police Department report had <br />stated no objections to proposal and that Fire Department Report had <br />recommended that building be sprinklered,exit lighting be provided, and <br />also that an enclosed area be provided for storing compacted trash. R. <br />Mongello, Architect, and J. Carney of Marks, stated that exit lighting <br />will be provided but that present building is not sprinklered and this is <br />not required by code. They agreed to provide a trash enclosure. The <br />Architectural Board had approved plans as presented. It was also stated <br />in these Minutes that trailers now on property will be removed when <br />addition is built. Mr. Mongello advised Mr. Burns that there will be <br />ample room for tractor-trailers to back up without backing into street. <br />J. Burns moved to approve the addition to the Marc's store in Great <br />Northern Shopping Center with the stipulation that the trailers that <br />are now being used for storage behind the building will no longer be <br />used and that an enclosed storage area for compacted trash be provided <br />and also to include the recommendations of the Architectural Board of <br />Review, seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />2) McDonald's Restaurant, 27322 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to add freezer enclosure to rear of building. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy advised that existing freezer on rear of <br />property will be relocated to rear of building and will be enclosed <br />in brick which will match the existing brick of the restaurant. The <br />representative of McDonalds stated that freezer can be entered from <br />inside the restaurant through the existing fire door and that new f ire
