Conforming house can be built on property, so he has no objec- tion to proposal. J. Brown moved to approve the S.C. Subdivision of parcels 232-31-17 and 232-31-18 which is splitting off 81.00 feet from the rear of these properties into parcel "A!" with a frontage of 81.00 feet fronting on Tallwood Drive as requested, seconded-by B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. V. COMMUNICATIONS: The Planning Commissioners' Guide has been received and Mr. Burns will study. VI. NEW BUSINESS: Planning Gommission will cancel December 25th meeting and will meet again on the next regularly scheduled meeting on January 8,.1985. VII. OLD BUSINESS: Letter from Planning Commission to Council requesting that Planning Com- mission be allowed to review pronosals to subdivide or assemble nonconform-- ing lots prior-to going to the Board-of Zoning Appeals for a variance, has been forwarded to the Law Department for the drafting of legislation. Such a proposal was before the Board of Zoning Appeals on December 5th, and Mr. Gorris had requested that the Board of.Zoning Appeals refer the matter to Planning Commission prior to granting=-a variance. The Board has continued the request until:January 2, 1985. The Commission and Assistant Law Director Dubelko discussed the ramifications of receiving these proposa]s prior to their_:being submitted to the Board of Zoning.Appeals. VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Mr. Burns advised that on December-4th, the Council as a whole_has approved the concept of the Ad Hoc Planning Committee. Mr. Morgan and Mr. Burns have been attending for Planning Commission.and will continue to work closely with the committee. IX.
