?.? <br />o. <br />? ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW MAY 16, 1984 PAGE 2 <br />Texture T=11 in burnt orange; developers planned to use walnut bark <br />(brown) shingles (picture showed black). White 30" picket fence wi11 <br />be included as a landscape feature. Board on board cedar fence and <br />landscape buffer will be installed along property line adjacent to <br />house on Ranchview. Mr. Cavaluchi suggested that flowering trees be <br />installed in landscape area adjacent to Ranchview instead of just grass. <br />Developers agreed to install 8 flowering crab trees. Dumpster will <br />probably be enclosed with the same board on board cedar fence which is <br />used on property line. Three pole lights will be installed in parking <br />area and wi11 be directed away from residences. J. Cavaluchi moved to <br />recommend approval of plans as submitted subject to use of the walnut <br />bark shingles on roof, and the installation of 8 snow drift crab trees <br />on the edge of the property bor.dering on Ranchview, seconded by M. <br />Case, and unanimously approved. <br />c) Michael 0'Grady, 31400 Bradley Rd. <br />Proposal to contruct additions to industrial building. <br />Mr. Morand, the Architect, presented plans. The addition and the ex- <br />isting building wi11 be sided with a brick wainscoating (Seneca Bark) <br />and a tan stucco on upper walls with redwood trim. Mr. Cavaluchi sug- <br />gested that trim should be painted brown. Roof will be black to match <br />the present roof. Front entrance door will be annodized aluminum. The <br />Board suggested that the metal overhead door and the man doors be pain- <br />ted to match the trim. Three of the windows are glass block. Shrubs <br />will be planted along the front elevation, some existing trees in the <br />front of the property will remain. J. Cavaluchi moved to recommend ap- <br />proval of the plans as submitted subject to redwood trim and all metal <br />doors being painted to match trim, seconded by M. Case, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />d) Great Northern Sports and Imports, 25559 Lorain Rd. <br />Mr. C. Petroski, architect,presented malel of the building and addition. <br />Siding on wing roof and facia will be Texture T-11 redwood with dark <br />brown trim. Mechanicals will be screened with redwood fence-type <br />screen, rlr. Slabaugh agreed with the Board that the landscape island <br />in front should be planted with flowers. Planters will be installed on <br />either side of entrance. Wooded area in rear will be cleaned up and <br />will remain natural. Existing pole sign frame will be painted to match <br />the dark brown of the building. Plans for signage will be submitted <br />later. J. Cavaluchi moved to recommend that plans be approved as sub- <br />mitted subject to the center island havin.g a floral display with wood <br />chips, seconded by M.
