ROLL CALL: <br />Acting Chairman Cavaluchi called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m. <br />Present: J. Cavaluchi and R. Mongello <br />S. Ebin arrived at 4:20 p.m. <br />Absent: M. Case <br />Also Present: Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES; <br />The Minutes of June 20th were deferred until the next meeting. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />Heard with building plans. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No items <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />a) Church of St. Clarence (Lipaj-Tomsik), 30106 Lorain Rd. <br />No representative present at this.time; heard later in meeting. <br />b) Standard Oil Co., 23425 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to demolish and rebuild station on site. <br />Mr. A. Schneider of Standard Oil explained the plans. Small sales <br />building, 384 sq. ft., will be a pinkish/red brick (no color number <br />available). Canopy will have signage on three sides. Mechanical <br />units are located in building and air intake will be screened through <br />the wall. Dumpster has no screening, but Mr. Schneider agreed to <br />screen with arborvitae. All wiririg1s underground. Site plan has <br />taken into consideration the widening of the Lorain/Clague Road inter- <br />section. Landscpe areas are planned, but specific landscape plan is <br />not available. Mr. Schneider will present it at a later meeting. <br />R. Mongello moved to approve subject to the following: 1) that pro- <br />posal be sent to Planning Commission with the Architectural Board of <br />Review approval, however, we request that the landscape plan be pre- <br />sented to this Board at the next meeting, and 2) that the dumpster <br />be screened with arborvitae evergreens 5' high, seconded by J. <br />Cavaluchi, and unanimously approved. <br />a) Church of St. Clarence (Lipaj-Tomsik), 30106 Lorain Rd.
