.? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - OCTOBER 5, 1983 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, T. Restifo, and C. Remmel. <br />Also Present; Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Law Director M. Gareau, <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />E. Graves moved that the Minutes of September 7, 1983 be accepted as <br />. published, seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously approved. <br />Dr. Erwin Jay Continued from meeting of September 7, 1983 <br />No.representative present heard last. <br />1. R. & F. Kleinschmidt, 24651 Deerfield Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance to park truck (over <br />one ton) in residential district. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1212.04. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. and Mrs. Kleinschmidt and neighbors, <br />R. Garapic, J. Stambaugh, P. GeQrgesen, B. Dearth, and Mr. and Mrs. <br />Zekany. Mr. Kleinschmidt stated that his son brings tractor home only <br />30 or 40 days a year, he leaves trailer elsewhere. Concrete pad was <br />installed in 1981 for truck. Neighbors did not object: truck was rarely <br />there, no particular noise, does not block view of traffic, and believed <br />that since pad was put in prior to ordinance permission should be gran- <br />ted under_grandfather clause. Letters from L. & D. Jockers and Mr. & <br />Mr.s. R. McGill stated they had no objection to truck parking in neigh- <br />b v.r hoo d. Mr. Kleinschmidt stated that insurance rates would escalate <br />_ if had to park"truck where not secure. Mr. & Mrs. Kleinschmidt stated <br />that they would be willing to build garage to contain tractor. Mr. <br />Gundy stated that parking truck in garage would still be a violation, <br />but ativised them that they could apply for a building permit for the <br />garage and request another variance (to park truck in garage) at that <br />time. T. Restifo moved to grant the"variance, seconded by E. Graves. <br />Roll call on motion:=--Bugala, Graves,-iiorvath, Restifo, and Remmel, <br />Nay. Motion failed to pass. Variance denied. <br />2. Ronald D. Tomcho, 26590 Waterbury Circle <br />Request for variance (1-133.13). Request variance for location-of-tool-- - <br />shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-D <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Tomcho and neighbors,Mr. & Mrs. Rerchandorfer. <br />Shed is installed and size is legal, however, location is not. Mr. <br />Tomcho did not know he needed a permit. E. Graves moved to grant the <br />variance, seconded by T. Restifo. Roll.call on motion: Graves, Restifo,
