?t* <br />? <br />, .._. <br />CIT'Y OF NORTH OLT4STED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINTJTES - JiTLY 6, 1483 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. <br />Present: R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, T. Restifo, and C. Remmel. <br />A1so Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Law Director M. Gareau, <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />L. Horvath moved to approve the Minutes of June 1, 1983 as submitted, <br />seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. <br />Paddock Fishley Greenhouses, Inc. 25131 Kennedy Ridge Rd. <br />Request special permit. Request special permit to add greenhouses <br />to non-conforming business (in residential area). Special permission <br />required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. Continued from meetings of <br />May 4, 1983 and June 1, 1983. <br />Case to be continued until August 3, 1983 and adjacent neighbors will <br />be notified. <br />1. Thomas A. Sloggett, 29723 Bretton Ridge Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for location of tool <br />shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04D. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. & Mrs. Sloggett who explained that there <br />are no houses on the side of the house where they would like to put <br />the shed and that the rear of the property where shed should be placed <br />is their only recreation area. The freeway is across the street. Mr. <br />Remmel stated that the Board has always been opposed to sheds attached <br />to the house. T. Restifo moved to grant the variance, seconded by E. <br />Graves. Roll call on motion: Restifo, Graves, Bugala, Horvath, and <br />Remmel, Nay. Motion failed to pass. Variance denied. <br />2. G. & M. Chalkwater, 4199 Danberry Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 10' rear yard variance for en- <br />closed patio. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. Also request <br />special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. and Mrs: Chalkwater. E. Graves moved to <br />grant the variance, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. <br />Variance and special permit granted. <br />3. J. & D. Prokay, 23584 Westchester <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 7`4" variance for distance <br />between proposed addition and garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1151.04C
